Born into the cattle business, as a 4th generation legacy, Michael was educated at Gonzaga Preparatory High School and Washington State University where he earned a Bachelors degree in Animal Science. He is both Founder and CEO of Schmidt Cattle Co. currently operating a cow/calf, feeder and cattle finishing operation, as well as, raising ranch horses. Now, he is taking all of his ranching experience and applying it to specialize in ranch real estate sales and residential sales and development. His passion and experience make him uniquely qualified to take on the real estate world with a rancher's dedication and hard work.
