Three of the seven-member negotiating committee recently traveled to the IAM William W Winpsinger Education Center (W3) to prepare for upcoming bargaining talks with the employer. The employer would not release four negotiating team members to prepare for upcoming negotiations. IAM District 8 Directing Business Representative Steve Jones, who is part of the negotiating team, was disappointed that the company failed to allow the entire team to prepare for the upcoming contract discussions.

“The employer not allowing four members to come to W3 was a bad move,” said Jones. “The entire team is now fully unified and will work even harder at the table when talks begin.”
