IAM Union Members at Atlantic Aviation Teterboro Overwhelmingly Ratify Strong New Contract

IAM Union members working at Atlantic Aviation Teterboro (TEB) have overwhelmingly ratified a new collective bargaining agreement, securing significant improvements in wages, benefits, and working conditions.

The newly ratified agreement, negotiated by IAM District 142, includes:

  • Wage increases for all levels and classifications
  • $1,500 signing bonus
  • Retroactive pay to the expiration of the contract
  • Premium increases
  • Sick time buyback provisions
  • Improvements to vacation accrual, surveillance language, progressive discipline language, and shift language.  

“This agreement reflects the power of union solidarity and the commitment of our members at Atlantic Aviation TEB,” said IAM Air Transport Territory General Vice President Richie Johnsen.“This contract was won by the hard work, unity, and determination of our membership.”

IAM District 142 team will work closely with company leadership to ensure the contract is fully understood and executed without delay.

“This contract delivers meaningful economic gains and important workplace protections,” said IAM District 142 President and Directing General Chair John M. Coveny, Jr. “It’s what our members fought for and what they have more than earned.”
