As lifelong residents of Berks County, we are focused on customer service and finding the gaps in their current insurance policies to help prevent future hardships --whether that's auto, home, renters, business insurance, or life insurance.
Farmers policies offer affinity discounts to ; active and some retired police, firefighters, paramedics, teachers, lawyers, physicians and registered nurses to name a few.
We realize that price is important, but it is only part of why customers chose our agency. We do not use the traditional "pressure to buy" sales approach. Instead, we strive to educate each person so they can make better decisions for their own situation and budget. Finding those "gaps" in an existing insurance policy is our specialty. Farmers have trained us carefully to look for anything that might cause a financial loss in the future.
Do we ask a lot of questions? Yes. The more we know about your lifestyle and current insurance needs, the better we are able to recommend the proper coverage. Insurance is too important to rush through or fit into a small time slot. Our hours are flexible to accommodate our client's free time.
My son, Jon, and I are the only two people that will answer your call or help you with your insurance questions. And yes, we try to answer every call or call back if we cannot answer at the moment. So always leave a message or a text (same phone number 484-755-5966). You will always get a written confirmation for your phone call or any change you might make to your account with us.
Whether you are buying a home for the first time, shopping for a new car, starting up a new business, or protecting your loved ones with life insurance, we will walk you through the process and point out your options.
Our family has been in business for over 90 years with Rentschler's Auto Center, so we understand how to treat our customers with respect and appreciation. This is our 11th Year with Farmers and we have enjoyed the experience of helping people make good choices in order to protect their assets and loved ones.
As an owner of a family business, I understand how important it is to protect those assets that one's family has earned over the years.
My family has lived and owned businesses for nearly 100 years in Reading. As a lifelong resident and a member of the community for over 60 years, we take pride in helping the community.
Our three children were raised and educated in the Governor Mifflin School District.
Currently, I also serve as the Music Director at our local church.
I was a substitute teacher in the Gov Mifflin school district for about 10 years as well as the Wyomissing Area School District.
I spent about 15 years with the Governor Mifflin Ambulance Assoc. and Southern Berks Paramedics as an EMT Paramedic. I was also an officer of both organizations. This was all volunteer work. I have great respect for police, paramedics and firefighters whom I have worked closely with while a paramedic. Their jobs are extremely important to everyone and they are selfless people who like to help no matter the risk.
