The first time that I ever spoke with an Edward Jones financial advisor, I was not a client or an employee. I was looking for an advising firm to become a part of. Instead of being pushed out the door or ignored, I was welcomed in and treated like a valued person. This culture was the main reason I was drawn to Edward Jones, as I could tell they truly cared about the families they served and had their clients' best interest in mind. I wanted to work for a company that puts the needs of our clients before our own, so I quickly decided to join the team. I feel very fortunate to work for a company that prides itself on our client-centric focus.
One of the reasons I love being a financial advisor is that I get to meet and build relationships with all kinds of people and help them achieve their financial goals. Every client is unique, and I believe that requires a tailored approach to each individual I work with. I enjoy getting to know my clients on a personal level, so I can give them a customized financial strategy, specific to them as individuals.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, Rachel, our identical twin girls, Mia and Quinn, and our youngest daughter, Margo. They keep us busy and are so much fun. We enjoy taking our Australian Shepherd, Tucker, on long walks and spending time at Holland State Park and other beaches. Rachel and I both graduated from Hope College and we enjoy staying connected there and spending time at Moran Park.
My three sweet girls are my biggest motivation, and the reason I enjoy what I do so much. I have been able to see firsthand what an impact planning can have on a family, and I would love to continue helping other families reach their goals as well.
