I didn’t grow up around homeownership. I grew up in a company-owned mining village where homes were rented according to the jobs employees held. It wasn’t until my father used his VA loan to buy our family a home after the mine closed that I truly began to understand what owning a home could mean for a family’s future.
That experience still shapes the way I view real estate today. To me, it has always been about more than buying and selling houses — it’s about stability, opportunity, dignity, and having a place to truly call your own.
