While driving home from my father's funeral, my mom mentioned that her car was low on gas. When she pulled into the gas station, she sat there motionless looking through the windshield. After a few seconds had passed, I asked her if she knew how to fill her car with gas. She said no, and that my dad had always taken care of that for her.
My dad is my hero. He was born to parents from the greatest generation. They instilled in him values of personal responsibility, integrity, humility, work ethic, financial prudence and faithful commitment. My dad loved my mom. One of the many ways he showed his love for her was to make sure her car was always filled with gas. Another was to make sure she was taken care of if he passed away before her. Although my dad considered his actions as faithful devotion to my mom, unfortunately they left her unprepared to carry on without him.
I became an Edward Jones financial advisor more than 28 years ago, influenced by my father's death and the life-changing impact it had on our family. My years of experience have taught me that simply knowing your retirement number isn't all there is to retiring well. Retiring well is also having a reason to get up in the morning. My role as a financial advisor isn't just helping my clients reach their retirement, it's also helping them clarify their purpose, so they can enjoy a fulfilling retirement.
If I have the privilege to meet with you, nothing will be more important to me than understanding what's important to you. Only then, when I know what you care most about, can I lead you through an established process to build a personalized strategy to help achieve your unique goals. Once a strategy is implemented, I will partner with you and your family throughout your lifetime, revisiting your goals and risk tolerance to help keep you on track toward your goals.
It would be my honor to meet with you and earn your trust and your business.
