During times of change or complexity, people want clarity and steady guidance. I provide financial advice and guidance for individuals and families who want their financial strategy to support what matters most to them. As an Edward Jones financial advisor for more than a decade, I also offer financial planning to clients with specific or comprehensive planning needs.
Much of my work focuses on helping people navigate life’s most consequential transitions — divorce, loss of a spouse, inheritance and unexpected wealth, career change and retirement. These moments often involve overlapping priorities and long-term implications. I work closely with clients to bring structure and perspective to important decisions so they can move forward thoughtfully and with intention.
I know what it means to start over. In my early 30s, I made the difficult decision to leave a life I had built and relocate from San Francisco to Minneapolis with only $500 during the height of the 2008 financial crisis. I experienced fear, uncertainty, and — over time — the rebuilding firsthand. That lived experience informs how I show up for clients navigating pivotal moments and complex decisions.
Before any recommendations are made, the process begins with a structured discovery experience designed to understand your full picture. From there, I build a strategy that connects your financial picture to the broader context of your life. With a background in fine arts, I believe that just as a work of art reflects its creator, a financial strategy should express what matters most.
Who This Work Is For
I work with individuals and families managing meaningful wealth who face decisions with long-term implications. My clients value perspective, sound judgment, discretion and an ongoing relationship focused on preparation and long-term thinking.
I’ve called Minneapolis home since 2009. I volunteered on the Edward Jones Regional Leaders Team from 2022 to 2025 and served on the board of Associates of Talent Development from 2019 to 2025. I am also an Edward Jones limited partner.
Outside the office, I enjoy biking, hiking, museums, live music, and cooking with my spouse, Jenelle, and our children, Michelle, Cecilia and Ian.
Let’s build a financial strategy that reflects what matters most to you. I’d welcome the opportunity to connect.
