When I began my journey in the financial industry, my goal was to provide education and support to members of the community. This first came to fruition at MSUFCU where I served as a loan officer for three years. In October of 2022, I joined the Edward Jones family with a mindset to further my acumen and depth of service.
Spending my former years in the wake of the great recession taught me the importance of financial security. Watching my friends and family lose their jobs and houses is what motivated me to gain a better understanding of the economy. As a financial advisor, I am able to pursue this passion by connecting to real people with the goal of creating a partnership focused on financial needs but reminiscent of friendship. This can come in many forms but with pensions fewer and further between, it often comes in the form of retirement planning. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to hear each clients' unique retirement plan and having the opportunity to help them fulfill it.
Even though I am a few years away from retirement myself, I still enjoy thinking about what it will hold. Until then, I enjoy giving back to the Charlotte community as a local Rotarian. I spend my free time, golfing, woodworking and cooking.
Our branch team provides a wide variety of services from estate considerations to healthcare and education funding. Our branch team consists of myself, retiring Financial Advisor Paul Tomasek, Senior Branch Office Administrator Janessa Hartwell and On-call Branch Office Administrator Michelle Sweet.
