Members of IAM Local 1010, and IAM District 6 recently gathered for their second H.E.L.P.S. event of the year, lending their hands to support Hope Haven, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing vocational, residential, and community living services.
Volunteers included members from IAM Local 1010, IAM District 6 Business Representatives, and IAM Grand Lodge Representatives, all united to make a meaningful impact. The group focused on improving the landscape around Hope Haven’s property, taking on tasks like replacing and laying new mulch, clearing sticks and debris, and removing three trees.
“Our members and representatives came together not only to improve the grounds of Hope Haven but to build a lasting impact through service,” said IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli. “It’s inspiring to see our members so dedicated to supporting an organization that gives so much to the community. We look forward to returning for future projects and continuing to strengthen this partnership.”
With everyone’s efforts, the grounds were transformed, creating a fresh and welcoming space for the residents and staff of Hope Haven.
After the event, volunteers expressed pride in their work and the camaraderie they shared throughout the day. The team’s shared dedication not only enhanced the property’s appearance but also strengthened their commitment to making a positive difference in their community.
As they wrapped up, the volunteers looked forward to returning for future projects, eager to continue their partnership with Hope Haven and support the organization’s vital role in the community.
