Dan Levin has been serving private clients, businesses, and institutions since 1992 and is the Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of 1776 Capital Management Group at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. He is a member of Janney’s CEO Roundtable and has been recognized by Forbes as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor six times, most recently in 2026.
Dan earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation after completing the program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation through the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition to holding applicable securities, insurance, and commodity licenses, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond.
Under Dan’s leadership, 1776 Capital Management Group has developed an active wealth management internship program designed for exceptional college students interested in pursuing careers in finance and wealth management.
Community involvement has always been a priority for Dan. He has been active with the Fox Chase Cancer Center Board of Associates for more than a decade and served as President from 2017 to 2020. The Board of Associates supports cancer research and patient care through year-round fundraising initiatives and special events. Dan has also volunteered with Philadelphia Futures, mentoring inner-city high school students.
A Bucks County native, Dan lives in Blue Bell with his wife, Laura, a registered nurse, and their three children, Clare, Danny, and Alex. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, golf, and reading.
