Dan has been serving private clients, businesses, and institutions since 1992, and is the co-founder & Executive Vice President of 1776 Capital Management Group at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. Dan is a member of Janney’s CEO Roundtable and serves on the firm’s FA Advisory Council and was recognized by Forbes as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor in 2021, 2022, and 2024.
Dan earned the professional designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) after completing the educational requirements at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, as well as the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition to holding all applicable securities registration, insurance, and commodity licenses, Dan also earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond in Virginia.
Giving back to the community where he lives and works is extremely important to Dan. He has been affiliated with the Fox Chase Cancer Center Board of Associates for more than a decade and led the group as President from January 2017 through July 2020. Founded in 1965, the Board of Associates is a group of dedicated volunteers who raise funds year-round through projects and special events supporting research and patient care at Fox Chase Cancer Center. The Board comprises 7 member organizations and two affiliates, harnessing the passion, creativity, and generosity of more than 500 volunteers who have raised more than $26 million in support of cancer research. In addition, Dan has served as a Philadelphia Futures volunteer, mentoring inner-city high school students. Dan enjoys swimming, golfing, and reading in his free time. A Bucks County native, he now lives in Blue Bell with his wife Laura, a registered nurse, and their three children, Clare, Danny, and Alex.
