I joined Edward Jones in 2015 but spent a decade in engineering before transitioning to financial services. I often joke that I’m a “recovering engineer,” but the truth is that my passion for helping people led me to this calling. The engineer's structured, analytical and problem-solving approach has equipped me well to handle financial challenges and advise clients effectively. I earned my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University and continued my education with the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, CFP®, certification in 2022, Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation in 2023, and Certified Kingdom Advisor® (CKA®) designation in 2024.
My wife, Natalie, and I have been married since 2005. We stay active with our five wonderful children through golf, soccer, volleyball, skiing and other activities. I’m committed to serving others, including a leadership role in my local church and serving on local boards.
