During the summer months, you will often find me enjoying everything the Central Coast has to offer - kayaking along the coast at Shell Beach 🚣, walking the shoreline in Pismo Beach, and spending time with my daughter exploring the sand and tide pools at Avila Beach 👣.
June on the Central Coast brings so many opportunities to connect locally and enjoy the start of summer ☀️. We love supporting community events like the Downtown SLO Farmers Market, enjoying live music during Concerts in the Plaza in San Luis Obispo 🎶, and spending evenings at the Avila Beach Farmers Market. Summer also means celebrating local traditions at events like the California Mid-State Fair in nearby Paso Robles 🎡, one of the area’s favorite annual gatherings filled with concerts, food, agriculture, and family fun.
With communities across the country beginning to celebrate America’s upcoming 250th anniversary 🇺🇸, it is also a special season to appreciate the history, patriotism, and coastal charm of towns like Cayucos and the entire Central Coast. From beach days and local festivals to outdoor dining and supporting small businesses, summer is one of the ideal times of year to experience everything San Luis Obispo County has to offer.
