Members of the IAM legislative team joined representatives from the Union Veterans Council on Capitol Hill the “Take Care of America’s Veterans Act” (H.R. 9237). Written deep into H.R. 9237 is clever wording that calls for cuts to health care for veterans and privatization of key elements of the Department of Veterans Affairs, which could result in outsourcing some NFFE-IAM jobs.
