Our union has refreshed its look, but make no mistake, our mission remains rock solid. The IAM Union has always stood for working people, and that will never change.
This updated branding isn’t just about looks. It reflects who we are today and where we’re going. We honor our past, but we’re focused on building a stronger future, one where every worker knows they belong.
“A Union for All” isn’t a slogan. It’s a promise. No matter your job, background, or industry, this is your union. We fight for justice, equality, and a better tomorrow.
We live in uncertain times. At a time when billionaires keep getting richer while working families are told to do more with less and divisive political upheaval tries to bring us down, we’re standing tall.
Over the past few months – and still today – the IAM Union has been on the front lines pushing back against policies that hurt our members and working people across this country.
We’re fighting in the courts to defend federal workers and restore their full collective bargaining rights. We’re in the agencies, demanding fair trade and smart tariff policies that put workers – not corporations – first. And we’re pushing to make sure American manufacturing, including shipbuilding, gets the investment and priority it deserves.
From the shop floor to the courtroom, to the halls of federal and state Capitols, and to the White House, we’re louder, stronger, and more determined than ever to ensure our members’ voices are heard and respected.
In the pages that follow, you will read about our hard-fought victories. These range from securing strong contracts at Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut and achieving a groundbreaking first contract at a cutting-edge AI lab in Illinois, to establishing solid ground for manufacturing workers at Trane in Tennessee and Boston’s rail unions negotiating an industry-leading agreement that raises the standards in the rail industry.
You’ll see how our Transportation Conference brought members together to tackle the fast-changing transportation industry – and how IAM Union members in the nonprofit sector across the Western Territory are protecting and serving their communities every day.
These aren’t just IAM Union stories. They’re proof that the labor movement is not only alive – it’s leading the way forward.
Let’s keep showing the world what solidarity looks like. Let’s keep fighting like hell for dignity, justice, and the future all working families deserve.
