IAM Union members and supporters of Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC) recently gathered in Las Vegas to benefit the IAM Union’s favorite charity.
IAM International President Brian Bryant expressed his gratitude, along with the entire IAM Executive Council, for the large turnout of participants and sponsors, particularly members of the IAM Union from different territories, for their fundraising efforts. The event featured multiple activities, including a sporting clay shoot, race car driving, ax throwing, golf, and a gala, all aimed at supporting GDA | TLC’s mission to provide service dogs for individuals who are blind, as well as those with PTSD and autism.
Several speakers highlight the transformative impact these dogs have on the lives of recipients, including a Canadian military veteran who shared his experience with his PTSD service dog, Oakley.
