The Maintenance Management Order (MMO) on Preventive and Operational Maintenance Guidelines for Delivery Bar Code Sorter Phase 2 – 5 using eCBM (MMO-047-26), was issued by the Postal Service on July 7. Because this is a significant operational document with potential implications for Maintenance employees, the APWU Maintenance Division immediately began engaging with the Postal Service to review the changes, discuss implementation, and address concerns regarding workload, training, safety, and contractual compliance.

According to Maintenance Division Director Balogun, “Our priority is to ensure that employees receive accurate, verified information rather than assumptions or misinformation.”
