The IAM Retirees and Membership Services Department is offering all EAP courses, levels I through IV, this coming year at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Md.
The 2025 EAP course schedule with registration deadlines is as follows (and established in the call letter here):
EAP I – Jan. 26 – 31, 2025, Register by Dec. 9, 2024
EAP II – March 30 – April 4, 2025, Register by Feb. 3, 2025
EAP III – Aug. 24 – 29, 2025, Register by June 30, 2025
EAP IV – Nov. 2 – 7, 2025, Register by Sept. 8, 2025
These courses equip IAM-EAP representatives with skills and resources to assist members who are seeking help for personal problems involving addictions and psycho-social issues such as: Acute Stress Disorder, Addiction, Alcoholism, Depression, Emerging Issues, Excessive Absenteeism, Excessive Debt, Gambling Addiction, Mental Health First Aid, Presenteeism, Suicide Prevention, and Domestic Violence.
The EAP I course is the first of the four-course program to receive certification.
This valuable program is fully recognized at the college level, in the workplace, in the employee assistance community, and throughout the IAM.
