IAM International President Brian Bryant has announced the appointment of Stephen Jordan as Aerospace Coordinator, effective Jan. 1, 2025.
Jordan brings extensive experience to the role, serving as President and Directing Business Representative of IAM District 75 since 2020. His career with the IAM began long before, marked by significant achievements and leadership positions:
- Elected Business Representative of District 75 in 2009
- Chief Steward and President of Local 449
- Vice President of Local 449
- President of the Panama City, Fla. Central Labor Council
- Executive Board Member of District 75
In addition to his union leadership roles, Jordan has also been a Delegate to District 75 for Local 449, a Delegate and Lobbyist to the Florida AFL-CIO and the Florida State Council of Machinists for District 75, and an active participant in workforce and community planning efforts.
His civic contributions include serving as a member of the Bay County Workforce Board and as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the City of Callaway, Fla., Planning Board.
Jordan’s appointment underscores his proven commitment to the labor movement and his wealth of experience in representing IAM members.
