IAM Local 1414 in the San Francisco Bay Area is a labor leader in youth education, skill development and trades. For more than a decade, the Local has sponsored San Francisco city’s only high school automotive program. Classes at Washington High School have given hundreds of students valuable skills which have translated into lucrative careers at union auto shops around the region.
